It outlines how ADHD affects children’s development, unpacks harmful misconceptions and looks at common mistakes in managing the condition. Please note that completing these courses does not qualify you to diagnose ADHD in others. If you would like a diagnosis, please consult a trained and registered medical professional in your country. These courses are so you can learn more about attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

Another helpful option, this course tracks patterns of behaviour, how ADHD affects adolescents and looks at a holistic approach to treatment and management.

A more advanced course for once you have more foundational ones under your belt, this option unpacks the etiology (or possible causes) of ADHD in young children and evaluates different parenting styles.

If you want to become a therapist or a psychologist, you need to research the requirements in your country. This likely means attending a university or college for a multi-year degree or qualification. You will probably also have to be registered and pass several exams.
