This free online English course is made up of three parts: pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary. We begin with exploring words related to directions and different locations, and we show you how to pronounce these words correctly. We also explain how to identify and write addresses.

Once you have mastered these new words and have practised your skills with the questions provided, we examine three forms of the imperative: affirmative, negative, and ‘let’s’. The imperative is mostly used when giving instructions, however, in this course, we also show you how to give and ask for directions using imperatives. We then provide you with important vocabulary related to transportation and places around town and show you how to read a map. This course teaches you general grammar rules and uses directions as an example to make these rules clear.
